Laser hair removal story
Recently, intense hair removal treatment on the market has aroused my interest. Is it so easy?
Board certified dermatologist Jessica Weiser, M.D. I finally approached him. “The hair has a stage of growth, and there are stages of rest and fall,” she said. "Some hairs don't exist now because they are at rest rather than every hair reacts to the pulse." So multiple intervals are required, about one month apart, which is the typical length of the hair growth cycle.
“What should we do before treatment?” I asked. “Well,” Dr. Wither frowned. “I need to clean the shaving razor, so we have to shave them now,” she continued, explaining that for the next six months of laser hair removal machine treatment, I needed to shave my legs.
I next asked to wear a pair of green goggles, and Dr Weiser rubbed the ultrasonic gel on my calf. Before we started, she shared with me a description of laser hair removal I had heard before: “It feels like a rubber band flicks your skin multiple times.”
I was wrong, or my pain threshold was very low because I found the laser hair removal very uncomfortable. In fact, I began to think that I would tap the rubber band at any time during the repeated burning of the laser. After the first few flicks, I was very creepy and Dr. Wither had to stop. It feels like someone is igniting my leg and then grabbing it. She explained that the darker the hair, the thicker it is; therefore, more energy is released onto the follicle, causing greater discomfort. When those hairs are ripped off, it feels like a bee stings - you just need hope that there is not much.
The whole process is a bit like playing a mole; it seems that there will always be another hair broken. But Dr. Weiser is calm and methodical, and her laser moves up and down in a straight line. The noise of the pulse is like the beat of a metronome or a fast elevator that hums on each floor. (On my second visit, I took off my silk shirt to avoid unnecessary dry cleaning.) But with each subsequent visit, it gradually became easier, in part because I became more and more used to this The process is partly because the hair is less.
Obviously, I am not alone. According to the American Academy of Dermatology, in 2011, skin surgeons performed nearly 500,000 laser treatments (the last year of data collection), so it must be slightly painful. Most people who receive diode laser hair removal machine treatment focus on smaller hair - underarm, upper lip, bikini line. These areas also happen to be more sensitive: let me think of the bikini series. These areas are also just more sensitive. On the other hand, the calf is one of the largest areas of their laser, and the total length of the legs takes about 25 minutes per visit.
Through my third date, I began to see the real difference. Dr. Weiser said that the laser picked up more "energy" and I found the whole experience far less painful. In the few days after each treatment, I had a series of small red bumps on my legs, which actually made me happy because I knew it meant that the laser had picked up the follicle. When the red disappeared, the spot would It is a hairless life.
A delightful idea, summer, and confidence to wear in my favourite Isabel Marant silk chiffon miniskirt season begins.
